Vōx Live @ The Waiting Room

Vōx (pronounced “wokes”) entered the stage with mystery and intrigue. Dressed in a blood red wedding dress, I immediately knew we would be in for something interesting.

More akin to performing art rather than a traditional gig, Vox seemingly floated across the stage, the flowing red dress evoking thoughts of birth, death and rebirth into something more.

Vocals rang true over the raw electronic musical soundscape, which further heightened the sense of intreague, and I found the whole performance inspiring, unique and thoughtful. Like all good art Vox’s performance left me thinking about it long after it finished.
