Tiger Moth Tales is the progressive rock project from multi-instrumentalist Pete Jones. On Saturday at Shepherds Bush he is performing keyboards with support from a full band, who did an amazing job of bringing Pete’s music to life, giving us some fantastic keyboard melodies that wouldn’t be out of place on a YES record as well as some beautiful instrumental moments. These are fused with heavier, rockier sections that all blend together seamlessly throughout the set that ranges from the dark and serious, through to more light-hearted moments. Technical, layered and emotional – this performance had it all.
