Sara Live at The Craufurd Arms

There was something delightfully minimal about Sara’s performance on Tuesday night at the Craufurd Arms. Vocals brought right to the forefront, a delightful melancholic sound.

Singing with a confidence that surpass her years, at times if I had closed my eyes, I could have sworn I was listening to Angel Olson performing a stripped back, lo-fi set. Something about the layered simplicity of her music pulls you inwards and I found myself being drawn into a more contemplative state of mind, examining my own hopes and fears. What I like about myself, and what I don’t. What I love, and what I have lost.

A talented singer and multi instrumentalist, Sara is at the beginning of her Career. But don’t let that fool you – she sings with the passion of someone with an old soul, and that is something that cannot be taught. And with a new single coming soon, she is a serious talent to watch for.
