Paige Bea, the singer songwriter from London came on stage, just her and a keyboardist. Straight away I was struck by the quality of her emotional, jazz infused tones with a hint soul.
Emotionally charged, exploring relationships through their darker times she projected a powerful image what could pass if we ignore the feelings of the ones we love.
Paige had nowhere to hide vocally, the stripped back set putting her voice center stage. Luckily she had nothing to fear, her pitch perfect voice with a slight melancholy edge weaved in and out of the keyboard with confidence.
A great performance to an appreciative crowd, she’s one to watch.
