On November the 12th, I went to MK Sports Bar where Box Monster Promotions was hosting a night of Prog Rock from up-and-coming local bands. And although the music wasn’t strictly prog (in the traditional sense) we did have four talented groups with a huge amount of energy and promise that did cover the spectrum of classic rock, alt and post-rock, as well as some Jazzy and proggy influences in there too.
