There’s no messing around with Billy Nomates – straight on stage, just her and her laptop before the music kicks in and Tor Maries voice powers across the stage. You can really tell she feels every word she sings, you can see it on her face – in the way she moves, commanding the stage with ease as her body becomes an extension of her voice as she moves with the post-punk music with a twist of 80’s nostalgia and electronica to keep it fresh.
