I had been looking forward to Axiom all weekend – I had given them a little listen before the event and I liked what I heard. And they did not disappoint. With influences including Jazz, math rock & metal they certainly slot into the prog mold, though to my ears they reminded me a little of post-rock band Mogwai but with a heavier, funkier & more energetic offering. I’m certainly looking forward to hearing more from this band in the future!
